Solid natural woods will have grain and colour variations, and will change how it looks over time, which is to be expected and not a defect. Direct sunlight will impact the colour of the item over time. Natural oils in the wood can migrate to the surface – use floor protectors to avoid contact with other surfaces.
Solid wood indoor furniture should be oiled every few months. After oiling, it must be rubbed with a dry absorbent cloth.
